Our Brisbane Story” – The Latest Blue Roo Production

Are you looking for a unique and heart-warming theatre experience filled with Are you looking for a heart-warming theatre experience filled with laughter, music, buses, a River Cat, a self-driving car – and one unforgettable journey of self-discovery.

Don’t miss this original, inclusive narrative reflecting the Blue Roo Team’s collective voices, experiences and perceptions of living with disability in Brisbane.

Join the ensemble’s unforgettable journey to Brisbane’s SouthBank to watch Riverfire. What is shared and what is learnt along the way? Why a guinea pig café? You’ll find out in this funny, thought provoking inclusive group narrative.

Performances: Queensland Multicultural Centre, 102 Main Street, Kangaroo Point 4169.

All performances are inclusive for audience members of all abilities. Before each show, a Tactile Tour is available for visually impaired attendees and a staff member to audio describe, on request, and a brief audience Q&A with the cast follows every performance.

Meet Megan

Introducing … Megan Troth.

Megan brings a wealth of experience to Blue Roo, with over 20 years in community-focused roles and seven years in events and office management, and… a very zany sense of humour.

She is skilled in promotion, business and community engagement, and event delivery, holding a Diploma of Events Management and currently completing a Certificate III in Community Services. 

With lived experience supporting family members with disability, Megan is passionate about inclusion and excited to support disability-led performances, festivals and fund raising. She values creating theatre that empowers artists, amplifies inclusive voices, and builds meaningful community connections.

Megan is currently organising our 2025 International Day of Disability mega raffle and celebrations.  The 2025 raffle could solve your Christmas gift dilemmas!
