A little more on Footpath to Fame:
The Footpath to Fame Program is a small Street Theatre Ensemble open to performers of all abilities and skill levels. It’s for theatre lovers, especially those with a gift for song, having fun and making people laugh.
Street theatre can involve singing, juggling, magic, physical theatre, mime, mimicry, mask work, circus skills, clowning, slapstick comedy and busking.
You will learn narrative skills, a wide range of performance techniques, and voice projection. Most importantly, you will learn to ‘think outside the box’ and manage change, in a team setting that is safe and engaging.
As you learn, you will strut your stuff throughout the year in various public settings, including Brisbane City public spaces and community events, with the opportunity to bring the joy of street theatre to regional communities and schools.
But more than anything – IT’S FUN TO BE FUNNY!!
Join us in this exciting new adventure!

A little more on the Pathways to Performance Program:
The Pathways to Performance Program is open to performers of all abilities and skill levels. You will develop narrative skills, acting techniques, and stage craft in a team setting that is safe and engaging. Every performer in the program will help shape public performances under the guidance of some of the best independent artists and Directors in Queensland.
As you learn, you perform more often throughout the year in different types of public settings. Each term you will have the opportunity to perform in theatres and public spaces in professional costumes, telling stories you helped to design.
You will also have the opportunity to tour – spreading the joy to Queensland schools and regional communities.
Blue Roo Changes Lives.

Congratulations to our cast for the awards they received yesterday at Blue Roo’s Christmas Party.
A special mention goes to Oriel Halpin who received the well deserved 2022 Annual Performing Arts Award. Oriel’s tireless efforts behind the scenes and on stage was instrumental to pulling both CHASING RAINBOWS and ‘TIS THE SEASON together. Well done!
Blue Roo Theatre wishes our community a happy and safe holiday period. ![]()
